  • Are there any specific visiting hours at Newlands?
    No, visitors, family and friends are always welcome anytime. If anyone would like to come for lunch they are welcome, but if they could just advise the home preferably the day before.
  • Is there anywhere to stay in the home if visiting or if my relative is ill?
    No, but there is a B&B just next door or hotels within walking distance in Stow.
  • Is there nursing care in the home?
    Yes, we are a residential and nursing care home 24 hours a day.
  • How often are the fees increased?
    Usually in April each year, however if the nursing needs change the fees will reflect the fee. Discussions will be had with the family and Registered Manager at that time.
  • Do you cater for special diets?
    Yes, we can cater for special dietary requirements.
  • What about tempting meals & snacks?
    Our meals are cooked fresh each day, using the finest ingredients. Home-made soups are served as one of the choice of starters each lunch time and at supper. There is a choice of fish main course served every day.
